Gurudwara Chhevin Patshahi Thara Sahib

Thara Sahib Gurudwara was attempted to recollect the visit of the sixth Sikh expert, Guru Har Gobind Singh.

This sacred spot of adoration is masterminded in Singhapura Town, which is close Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The shrine commemorating the Guru's visit is called Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahi, Thara Sahib. Thara means a platform of mud or masonry.

At first only a Thara Sahib existed here but later in the 1930s Sikh savant Bhai Vir Singh constructed a square- and dome-shaped building here. It is amongst one of the highly revered places of worship of Sikh faith in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to local tradition, it is the site where Bhai Bahilol, a Muslim Faqir, met Guru Sahib and served him food.
