Gurudwara Chhevin Patshahi Thara Sahib

Thara Sahib Gurudwara was attempted to recollect the visit of the sixth Sikh expert, Guru Har Gobind Singh. This sacred spot of adoration is masterminded in Singhapura Town, which is close Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. The shrine commemorating the Guru's visit is called Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahi, Thara Sahib. Thara means a platform of mud or masonry. At first only a Thara Sahib existed here but later in the 1930s Sikh savant Bhai Vir Singh constructed a square- and dome-shaped building here. It is amongst one of the highly revered places of worship of Sikh faith in Jammu and Kashmir. According to local tradition, it is the site where Bhai Bahilol, a Muslim Faqir, met Guru Sahib and served him food. 

Gurudwara Koohni Sahib

Gurudwara Khooni Sahib is situated in the Manimajra village at the Manasa Devi Complex in Chandigarh at the Bhainsa Tiba district. This is situated in close vicinity to the main city and is easily accessible for the hundreds of pilgrims who visit here. This is one of the many Gurudwaras that are embedded nicely within the enclosures of Chandigarh city. Nevertheless, there is an interesting and unique history behind the establishment of the Khooni Sahib. History Rami Rai, who had ruled Dehradun in the earlier days, slowly started supporting the Mughal kings, who were anti-Sikh people. Angered by her husband’s decision, Mata Raj Kaur left Dehradun and sought abode in Chandigarh.
